Alison Rey is proud that she can outsmart her stepfather and stepmother Elexis Monroe by faking illness, proud of her hookie record. But today, things are going to change for this cocky know-it-all. Alison packs her bag, ready for the beach while Elexis is oblivious to her stepdaughter's motives. When they get in the car ready to leave, Alison puts on a show pretending she's sick. Elexis urges her to stay home and get some rest, but Alison makes one grave mistake. She left her college bag with all her beach clothes in the car! Elexis goes back inside the house and discovers the truth after looking through the bag. Alison pleads with her stepmother not to say anything and will do anything to keep this a secret.
